A wild and loud Greek woman named Toni moves into a sleepy Scandinavian town along the St. Croix River in eastern Minnesota. Initially, the reserved townspeople don't know what to make of her. But as time goes on, they find themselves drawn to her contagious joy and zest for life. When Toni is stricken with cancer, the town rallies to her side. With the help of a local photographer, they all set off on a wonderful journey that takes them way outsider their comfort zone. This documentary shines a light on the amazing power of love and community and challenges our ideas of death and living.
