Her Heels Hang High explores the issues teens are facing in school and at home of bullying, teen homosexuality, and how to be strong in who they want to be rather than following the traditions set forth by their parents. It follows Steve the bully of the school who discovers he can choose to change and break the cycle of abuse. Grant, the all-star football player, is hiding a secret that may ruin his family's reputation but finds acceptance from his family. Instead of the all-academic girl, Samantha, living a sheltered life forced by her mother, she learns to break free, finds her individuality and experiences life as it's meant to be as a teen. Meanwhile, fly on the wall loner, Seth, finds his courage to break out of his shell and win over his long time crush, Chelsea. In the end, they all discover that change is inevitable; how you change is up to you.
