Seth, a Manager of a comedy club in NYC, struggles with his feelings for his ex-wife, who is now lesbian. Yet, life at the club, with her and the rest of the colorful staff, like the shows, must go on. The plot of Stand-up Neurotica, the pilot , revolves around Seth, an anxious individual, as he manages a crazy, high-energy night at the club with a comedian who seems like he's never going to show up. At the same time he is nursing a broken heart for his ex-wife, Julia, the club owner. Meanwhile, things remain in a constant state of flux.
