ONCE UPON TODAY: Mirko Faienza, Franco Ferioli Once Upon Today' is a short film based on a Fest that takes place every summer in the very small Italian town of Bevagna, Italy. During these days the citizens of Bevagna fall into a magic ritual; leaving behind their own present they recall the lifestyle, the society and the jobs of the medieval town of Mevania as Bevagna was called in the 13th Century. It is true time traveling and the Bevanatis angage each other in the most authentic reproduction of that moment in the history of their town. The short film describes life in Italy between 1250 and1350 and our intent is an understanding of the very thin connection between our past and our present.
