After Hispanic family man carpenter is wrongfully convicted of felony murder and sentenced to death at Soledad Prison for crimes committed by doppleganger, his go it alone overtaxed black female attorney, teenage sister and honest Latino rookie cop team up to exonerate him briefly until ironically he is subsequently martyred by racial profiling by San Diego law enforcement.
