One night Sharon is awoken by knocks at the door. When she opens it Dima, who has escaped the juvenile hall where she works, stands there. She agrees that Dima stays overnight in the apartment she shares with her partner Jonathan; not knowing Dima's stay will throw their lives into disarray.
