MANUELA is the only daughter of wealthy Colombian parents and in a relationship with her yuppie boyfriend MAURICIO, who cheats on her. As part of the Colombian elite, she appears to have every advantage in life but is completely unhappy, living a multitude of lies. She yearns to escape Bogota with her best friend ADRIANA with whom she is secretly in love. When Manuela discovers that she's pregnant, her life and dreams begin to unravel.
