Mhuri ne Mhuka

A short documentary about a small family in the village of Mvurwi, rural Zimbabwe. A visually driven, stylised documentary, creating portraits of a family and showing all aspects of their daily co-existence with their animals. With no narration or subtitles, we as an audience experience life with the family and see their relationships unfold in front of us, in this realistic and tough portrayal of rural life.
