Intimate Strangers is set in a world of cheap motels and late-night cigarettes. It begins when Cathy Jupiter recalls a provocative dream to her long time boyfriend, Donny Doverman. Allured by the promise of a threesome, Donny scours craigslist and finds Shelly Pocket, a free spirit looking to experiment. The three of them embark on a wild night. But after the thrill of sex is over, emotions run high, and Donny will have to do something drastic to prove his love for Cathy.
