A young man named Thomas, sets out to hike the entire Appalachian Trail after receiving a letter from his terminal mother, deciding to follow in her footsteps. With nothing but his boots, his backpack, and his will, Thomas embarks on a spiritual journey so that he too, like his mother, may hear the voice of God.
