The Surf Report

K, a surfer from the Rockaways, goes out to surf one day and never returns. Did he leave town? Go on a bender and never come back? Drown? Freddie, his grieving lover, can't face attending K's memorial service and instead seeks solace in a local surf bar. Inexplicably drawn into a session with a mysterious tarot reader, Freddie finds himself questioning his own rituals and beliefs as he searches for answers. What begins as a lark turns deadly serious as the film glides toward a tragic reunion.
