A classic tale of finding treasure in the trash, Kevin Laird, a salvager working at the Berkeley dump discovers a 16mm film of the opening night party for the city's legendary bookstore, Moe's Books in 1965. After returning it to Moe's daughter Doris who now runs the store, they learn the filmmaker is none other than David Peoples' the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of Unforgiven, Blade Runner and 12 Monkeys.
