Two women struggle to overcome adversity while facing a patriarchal government in their village. Poverty and illiteracy hinder Jassu Bai from feeding her family so she seeks help from Sadna, an activist in her community, who in turn is struggling to fight the patriarchal mindsets that continue to exist in their society.
