The Last Halt

The journey of a 21 year old girl from a deprived background in Sri Lanka, aspiring for a bright educational future in the UK. Circumstances turn the tide on her. The story follows her ordeals in the course of which she witnesses the true nature of the lives of most diaspora Tamils and their struggles for survival in the UK. Despite her unrelenting determination, she is faced with an uncertain future and the question of where it may lead her.
