The Block
Based on the work of promising portuguese writer Gonçalo M. Tavares, The Block follows around a set of characters based on writers such as Italo Calvino, Paul Valéry or Robert Walser. There is an assumption that cinema must portrait reality, 'The Block' purpose is to seem more like literature, where sometimes stories and events belong more to the world of ideas than to the world of reality.
