A young boy, Avnish, is diagnosed with autism at 4 years old and the doctors tell his parents that he isn't going to amount to much. His parents immediately refuse this claim and fight against the misconceptions and stigmas of autism. The school decides it is best for him to be put in the 'special-ed' program, with others who are 'like him'. Avnish discusses with his mother that he would like to be removed from that program because he is frustrated at their excessive attention. With his great talent in the arts, he surprises the school and this is when things begin changing for him and his family. This story is meant to exemplify the circumstances of many other family's going through the same situation, and give them hope.
