34 year old Gayan holds an executive position at a private company. Having divorced his first wife Gayan has a four year old daughter. Even after the divorce, Gayan is subject to criticism from his former wife for habits which he cannot seem to shed. Maya his ex-wife reprimands him over the phone, often in the presence of their young daughter. This complex and confusing world created by her parents takes a toll on the child's mind. The questions she asks her father, at times, leave Gayan at a loss for answers. The film explores the hidden realities of a middle class family in modern-day Sri Lanka.
