Our emotion would not exist without movies we have seen. Yi-Ren is a love letter collaged from various sources: Super 8 diary, karaoke video, found-footage and poems of Kang-Chien Chiu. Using these materials as ready-made affects, a narrative was generated between subject and the object of desire.
