Eight passengers on a train begin their journey as total strangers and as the journey advances they gradually become inseparable friends. When the border guard arrests one of them on the suspicion that he could be a foreign spy, all the passengers demand to be taken to jail along with him because all of them are the same which means all must be spies too. When he refuses to take all to the jail they declare their independent little state in their own train compartment.
