'Awaken' is a short Experimental Psychological Drama about a disabled writer with ME who feels his life can never be complete thanks to society, the cuts to the Welfare State and with direct reference to the 'Hierarchy of Needs' proposed by Abraham Maslow in his 1943 Psychology paper 'A Theory of Human Motivation'.
