For many years, East Village has been home to one of the highest concentrations of homeless and low-income communities in Downtown San Diego. This is rapidly changing with the gentrification of the area. Today, Pinnacle Condominiums' 45-floor twin tower project is East Village's latest residential renovation scheduled for full inauguration in summer of 2016. This documentary and research takes a closer look at redevelopment and gentrification as it affects the city's least fortunate.
