We follow a man on the brink of starvation in a post apocalyptic world. At first the hunter for food, he soon becomes paranoid that he is the prey to another, a kind of being he deems as an 'animal'. This 'animal' turns out to be human and once they meet face to face, they fight it out over a bag of food until the tougher beast comes out on top.
