When Neil Sadaka wrote Breaking Up Is Hard to Do he hadn't met 'Rayborn Barboro Nathaniel McKinley Jackson,' in fact, Rayborn hadn't even been born. However, in the 30-something years since his birth, Rayborn has not only proven breaking up can be easy, he's raised it to an art form. When women want to become a 'couple', Rayborn simply wants to 'uncouple' - and does so, skillfully. After a friend and co-worker, Gerald, has a ringside seat for Rayborn's latest breakup, he begs him to break up with his psychotic girlfriend for him. When pleading fails, Gerald adds a few Franklins to the request and a deal is cut. One anonymous phone call and 3 minutes later, Rayborn is $400 richer and his friend suddenly unattached. When word of his relationship-ending prowess spreads and a Craig's List ad is taken - Mr. Breakup, Inc. is born. Business booms, relationships get ended, hearts get broken - all in the most hilarious of ways. Life for Rayborn just couldn't get better. Until, that is, Mr. Breakup meets Miss Brokenup. An encounter which begs the question, 'Can one good woman, one ill-advised wager and one change of heart turn Mr. Breakup into Mr. Makeup?
