Jason the accountant finds himself in a mysterious room without defined boundaries, speaking to an omnipresent voice. Without hesitation but with some fanfare, the Voice informs him that he has arrived in the 'afterlife.' In the course of several minutes, Jason meets multiple existential revelations and must accept the inevitable conclusion that he has missed innumerable opportunities at fulfillment and happiness, as have many human beings before him. Meanings of life and religion compound the hangover he's feeling from his death by accident. Jason gradually realizes that he would give anything for a second chance to live with purpose.
