After a long summer in the post-graduation wilderness, a group of university friends gather together for one last party. But the past is not willing to let itself go that easy, as old flames and conflicts manifest themselves in this self-contained drama short. 'Wasteland' explores the party atmosphere through the lens of sober observation and follows characters who are stuck in a challenging present, with their pasts and futures coming to a head.
