The Boy tells the story of a boy desperately searching for his sexual identity. His rage and frustration lead him to contemplate the idea of suicide. He decides not to kill himself. Then, by a trick of faith, he shoots himself by mistake. It is only in death that he finds the freedom that eluded him while he was alive.
