A young French translator has been living in Cologne for a month, busy on the translation of the latest book by H.P Roché. He falls in love idealistically with the woman character in the novel. By chance, he meets a young foreign woman who is very similar to her. It is hard for people to look for each other in a big city. They can hardly even communicate through the classified ads in newspapers.
