Rua Paraiso, 'ciudade nova', is a shanty town slum in the northern part of Sao Paulo, a mega-polis of Brazil. It's a symbol of the poverty of thousands of favelas spread around the world. There are 1600 of these areas only in Sao Paulo. The children tell the story of these conditions - metaphor for the present-day unstoppable development of the big cities of the earth.
