In a cartboard city the lives of five characters interlacing for a few moments. An exchange of persons, an homicide, small disasters and great tragedies at sunset in a normal day of everyday life. The city, like the people living in it, is wrapped in a shroud of smoke that lets the rays of sunshine in but doesn't let them back out.
