Images from an old film showing a tryst. The man and woman have survived the passage of time, which instead has deteriorated and eroded the film. In fact, outside the room the present time is marked by automobiles racing past and the rain that incessantly falls, while a lamppost illuminates the night. At the end, the notes of Selene by Domenico Modugno interrupt the silence.
