«I woke up in a dark room of the fourth floor in block 'E' on a Friday morning, very early», this is how the movie starts. The narrator (Dario Penne) tells firsthand about his days in a psychiatric unit, after he had attempted suicide. A descriptive and introspective story that shows the tragedy of solitude, of impotence, the relationship with a health care system that not many people know, an environment that leaves disoriented. The point of view of a man who's 'healthy and conscious' and able to tell what happens, to analyze it and report it. 'Blocco E' is a 20 minutes monologue, accompanied by a tight visual and auditory claustrophobia that leaves breathless for the entire duration.
