THE WEEABOO is a feature-length documentary film that speaks on many topics within what is not widely known as weeaboo culture. The film follows Jacob Lacuesta, a filmmaker and ex-weeaboo, as he travels to dig deep into the good, the bad, and the ugly of weeaboo culture. Highly important topics include: cultural appropriation, mental health, community and belonging.
