'As Life Shifts' is intended to focus on ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, also commonly known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle weakness, paralysis and, ultimately, respiratory failure. There is no cure for ALS, and it is a terminal disease. ALS has touched many of our lives very personally and intimately. Our personal attachment to ALS has created a commitment to mobilize people towards finding a cure and ultimately defeating ALS. We believe our most effective way to participate in bringing awareness is by delivering an impact artistic message in the form of this short film.
