Zinat a Pakistani shepherd girl enters Indian territory by mistake and gets captured by Border Security Force (BSF). Zinat gets 7 years of jail for entering India without proper documents. While she is in jail a solider rapes her and she gives birth to a baby girl. When her prison term is over India starts procedure to deport her back to Pakistan. But Pakistan refuses to accept her daughter as she is born in India, hence an Indian citizen. Then starts the struggle of Zinat who is fighting with two nations who are trying to separate her from her daughter.
