Billy and Jimmy are two young adults who became best friends at university and have moved into a house together. Despite their good intentions to support each other to do well with their studies in the final year, a single slip up and an encounter with shifty character may have cost them their future. Jimmy unwillingly has been recruited as a 'Roadman'. But as he attempts to escape the clutches of this unwanted lifestyle, he realises it is not only his future at stake, but also his friend Billy. Billy is unaware of Jimmy's troubles and tells him to get his act together or lose him as friend completely. Now Jimmy must make a moral choice, to break free of the anonymous hierarchy that holds him at the risk of harming his friend, or to lose himself to the life he did not want to protect him.
