A painter lives lonely in his house. One day, the subject of one of his paintings, a ballerina, comes alive. She is graceful, and her vitality makes the rigid and shy painter feel uncomfortable. Eventually, he let himself go into a liberatory dance. They spend the night together. The following morning, the ballerina notices that her substance is melting down like snow in the sun. She has little time left to live, but she does not want her beloved creator to suffer for her. The painter soon wakes up. The ballerina is not in the house. He notices spots on the ground and follows them. The spots lead him outside and end near a dense paint colour puddle trapped in the asphalt. The desperate painter goes back inside. In a state of creative trance, he starts painting. Suddenly the brush he was holding falls on the floor. In the painting, next to the ballerina, there is also the painter now.
