Watchkeeping

Late hours of a hot summer evening. Darius brings a special anti-ulcer mattress to his terminally ill mother's ward. While Darius and his father wait for the mattress to turn on, casual street noise appears behind the window. Both men decide to transfer mother to a new ward, but the switch doesn't change much as the new ward faces the stadium. An international football match is about to begin. Darius and his father try to persuade each other that the situation is improving anyway.
