A good mother would never hurt her children, at least not intentionally.

Alice is convinced that her that her children are possessed, and comes to the decision that she may have to kill them to free their soul. She is sent to a state facility for life for killing her children although she pleads her innocence. After her first night in the facility she begins to see her dead children in her dreams and reality. And she is instructed to kill all of the patients the very same way that she killed them.
