Down on his luck writer has a stroke of good fortune along with renewed vigor, youth and zest for life when he receives a gift while browsing in an occult store from it's owner, but when his adopted son arrives back home from graduate school where he's studying anthropology, the two experience a series of unexplained phenomenons unleashed from the dark side with life or death consequences.
