Shirtless Window

Shirtless Window is a short film that expresses the emotions of giving life to art, embodying the conflict within the artist as well as between society and the artist. During the creative process, the artist is torn between the idea and the work he or she is creating. This often leads to questions such as 'Am I being true to my idea?' and 'Have I created what I wanted to express?' The artist often struggles between the intention and the physical artwork. While this internal conflict persists there is also the presence of external conflict between the artist and society. This may relate to social and political struggle of the artist in relating to wider society, the economic challenge of maintaining an income and also dealing with the day-to-day ups and downs of ordinary life.
