Taking place in the year of 1941 in Peoria Illinois, a infamous town murderer has recently killed a young Elly Spallen. The next night in a blizzard, a journalist Sylvester Severs (Bill Naoum) invites over the only witness of the murder, Adrian Mordon (Matt Pittenger) to get the first scoop on the story, yet as the night progresses, the two men get suspicious about each other which results in an interesting evening.
