Riley's career has hit a dead end. She returns home and reunites with her two best friends, both grief-stricken and in desperate need of help. An abusive baby daddy, a charming womanizer, an unsolved murder victim, and the friend-zoned college buddy all play a part in this feminist film noir. Riley's pursuit of justice places her in a role she is not entirely comfortable with: femme fatale.
