Tiger of the White Sun

In the midst of World War II in the Far East, a pilot of the American Volunteer Group is forced to bail out over contested territory in Hunan Province. Desperate to find a way back to friendly lines, the stranded pilot is discovered by a group of young Chinese soldiers already knee-deep in a critical mission - men who are his only hope of returning alive. Can the strength of camaraderie and selflessness overcome conflicting objectives and cultural barriers?
