Raju and Prity meet at the marriage ceremony of their friend. They meet each other at the college yard later and Raju fall in love with her. Raja, gambler and drunkard, owes to Prity's father and wants to marry Prity. But Prity despises and insults him. He sends some of his men to take her away. But Raju saves her from them. Prity thinks that Raju sets all of these men and insults him. Raja again sends his men and this time a police inspector saves her. By this time, Raju's mother gets ill and he needs a lot of money. Raja gives him the money in one condition to run his mother's operation. Some bitter realities come before them afterwards.
