Dylan, a mid-twenties vagabond junkie, is convinced by his best friend Phoenix to train-hop across the country in hopes of finding the buried stash his brother told them about before getting incarcerated. Dylan is self-destructive and Phoenix is blind, neither of them expected a small-town drifter to lead the way, especially when the boxcar they jump-ship in is full of moonshine and memories. The endeavor becomes more than what they bargained for, and the confines of the train car reveal their true identities as we slowly learn that everything isn't exactly what it seems.
