A sadistic predator called The Spider is terrorizing the city of Los Angeles at night by abducting society's homeless & undesirables to mummify them alive. With the LAPD's resources stretched to their limits a Rookie cop fresh from the academy takes it upon herself to investigate the murders in her own time by enlisting the help of a street-wise drug addicted hooker who is the only person to have witnessed the killer in action and escaped to tell the tale.
