Freedom is a show about a black college student named Malcolm Turner who gets super powers after being brutalized by the police for no reason. Malcolm is endowed with the power to stop time and run at super speed. Malcolm realizes that he must be the person to stand up for the people who can't help themselves, even if it means going against the system.
