WWE Backlash
Backlash (2017) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event and WWE Network event, produced by WWE for the SmackDown brand. It took place on May 21, 2017, at the Allstate Arena in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois. It was the thirteenth event in the Backlash chronology, and the second Backlash to be held in the Allstate Arena, after Backlash 2001. Eight matches were contested at the event including one match on the pre-show. The Match card is as follows- 1) Tye Dillinger vs. Aiden English (Preshow). 2) Dolph Ziggler vs. Shinsuke Nakamura. 3) Breezango (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) vs. The Uso's(c) (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship). 4) Sami Zayn vs. Baron Corbin. 5) Six Woman Tag Match: Naomi(c),Becky Lynch & Charlotte vs. The Welcoming Committee (Natalya, Tamina & Carmella w/James Ellsworth). 6) Kevin Owens(c) vs. AJ Styles (WWE United States Championship). 7) Luke Harper vs. Eric Rowan. 8) Randy Orton(c) vs. Jinder Mahal w/ Sunil & Samir Singh (WWE Championship). *Here (c) refers to: Current Champion(s).
