Summer Solstice
Hollis Frampton, using a variety of shots, makes a short film documenting cows at a dairy farm. Shown in a large pasture, the cows eat grass and drink water, shown in detailed closeups and long shots. The camera also films the grass itself, shooting long sweeping views of it between the cow scenes. A dog is seen watching, and at the end a drinking cow is reflected in the pond-water.
